Privacy

Your stand locations are the most sensitive thing here, and we treat them that way. We do not sell them, we do not share them with other users unless you explicitly share a specific item with a specific hunting party, and we do not use them to advertise to you.

Account. Your email address and a sign-in identifier, through our authentication provider. We do not store your password — we never see it.

Your quiz answers. Species you hunt, experience level, home state, hunting methods, unit code, tools you use today, group size, gear budget band, and your units preference. Collected before you make an account so you do not have to repeat it afterwards.

Places you save. Waypoints and stands: coordinates, a label, notes, and an optional target area. This is precise location data that you chose to record.

What you log. Observations: coordinates, what you saw or found, species, sex, age class, sign type and freshness, behaviour, time, the conditions and how hard you were hunting, your notes, and — separately from where the animal was — where you were standing when you saw it.

Your gear. Rifles, their chambering, barrel length, zero, scope height, and any chronograph readings you enter.

Location while you use the app. With your permission, to centre the map, warn you before you cross a boundary, and record a walked track when you ask it to. The app asks before any of this and works without it.

What the app recommended. Which suggestions we made and whether you acted on them. This is how the app learns not to send everyone to the same place — see below.

We use it to answer your questions about your ground: where to set up, how the wind will move your scent, whether you can get an animal out. Analysis runs on your data for you.

We also use the record of what we recommended, in aggregate, so the app avoids pushing many hunters onto the same ground. That is the one place your activity affects what somebody else sees, and it affects it only as a count — never as a location anyone else can see, and never attributed to you.

Nothing you record is visible to anyone else by default. There is no directory, no discovery, and no way to search for another hunter. Sharing happens one observation at a time, to one hunting party you joined with a code someone gave you.

The limit worth stating plainly: un-sharing is not a recall. If you share a location with your party and later delete it, it is gone from the app — but the people who already saw it still know where it is. No software can undo that, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.

Service providers who run parts of the app for us: authentication, database hosting, application hosting, map tiles, weather, and the AI models behind the assistant. They process data on our instructions to provide the service, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not publish your locations.

You can delete your account from inside the app — on the web under Account, and on the phone under the Account tab. It removes your profile, waypoints, observations, wind roses, rifles and recommendation history. It cannot be undone and we cannot recover it for you.

If you created a hunting party and other people are still in it, the party is handed to one of them rather than deleted underneath them.

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
